Selinoë is a small publisher with above all a selection of children's and YA books. Here you will find unique books that won't find their way to the major publishers. Selinoë is a small publisher with the big ambitions. Our first books appeared in 2010-2011.

Our logo symbolizes the forward moving circular movement. It's important to remember the past, but also not to stagnate. This philosophy permeates Selinoë publishing.
Who are we?
We are two book loving sisters who started this publishing company together. We also have an illustrator and designer. We publish books we like to read so it's a subjective selection, but that's the way we want it.
History
Selinoë's owners come from a family of business owers. For instance, our paternal grandfather was a wholesaler in haberdashery/notions, located in Stockholm our maternal grandparents were grocers in the west of Sweden. Our mother's paternal grandfather was a grocer too and her paternal grandmother was an inn keeper. Our mother's maternal grandfather was a builder. All the businesses were located in the west of Sweden except our grandfather's haberdashery.
Policy
We have a policy when it comes to the environment, which means that we use a Swedish printer to minimize the transport. Our books are printed using print-on-demand technology, which means that we don't keep large numbers of books. Instead they are printed as needed. Nothing wil go to waste. In conclusion we'd like to mention that we are passionate about Books in all formats and also libraries. They are an important cultural resource in society. Also, it's what we enjoy the most.
